Goodbye, spammer. See you never.
Google announced on Tuesday a new update to Gmail on Android and the web that will allow people to outright block irritating senders with two clicks.
Simply tap the options button within an irksome email, select "Block," and you'll never have to worry about that jerk again.
On Android, that looks like this:
If you're using a web browser, click the little arrow in the upper right corner of your message and select the "Block" option from there.
If you want to let a sender out of the doghouse, Google says you can later "unblock" people within your Gmail settings.
Don't fret if you don't have access to the new feature yet: According to Google's blog post, it'll be rolling out to users in the next few days.
