Oh, people are strange. If you don't know what we're talking about, graciously offer to host a dinner party. Then you'll see.
You'd think it'd be customary for party guests to act per status quo -- as in, polite -- but when you get people together around a table with food, things can often go awry.
For example, while your friend may have never mentioned her recent foray into veganism, she will announce her new diet only when she sits behind her empty plate. This person is known as "The Fussy Eater." Later you'll catch her sneaking a bite of mac & cheese, but you'll be too exhausted to mention anything.
Sort of similarly, there will be "The Creature of Habit," the one who insists he cannot eat anything on the table until ketchup is brought out. You'll need to find a way to handle him, too.
Yes, once a meal is involved, your friends and family are sure to reveal all of their idiosyncrasies. And as the awesome host you are, you'll be able to handle all of it. As you'll see in the infographic below, courtesy of Ship It Appliances, there's a solution to every kind of weird party guest situation. Study up, and at your next party you will prove yourself a superhero. Good luck!
