Swedish balloon artist and blogger Katja Wulff made Gucci the subject of her Tumblr, Meowfit of the Day, where she posted pictures of her 16-year-old Siamese dressed in stuffed tights or leggings once a day. According to an interview in Metro, Wulff describes Gucci being "like a blob that we can place everywhere we want, and she just stays put and purrs."

Wulff and boyfriend, Dan, came up with the idea when they were thinking up a new prank to play on their cat.
But it looks like the prank is on the Interwebs, because three years later, pictures of cats in tights on Facebook pages like Cats Wearing Tights and Cat Planet are still going strong.
