Giant Penis Christmas Lights Are Well-Hung But Arouse Scorn

An entire Brooklyn neighborhood got the shaft this holiday season.

A 6-foot-high display of penis-shaped Christmas lights in a penthouse window reportedly has generated stiff opposition.

"It's rude and vulgar," Justin Abenchuchan told DNAInfo.

The lights were erected two weekends ago in the Williamsburg section of the borough, DNAInfo reported. An unidentified man said his roommate did it as "a joke."

Website Free Williamsburg was amused, writing in its headline that the lights "shine down...like the star of Bethlehem."

And according to the Daily Star, at least one person laughed off the phallic display.

"It can be considered art actually," Patricia Wright said. "Americans are a little too puritanical."
